Morgan County records should be directed as follows:

- Criminal history and personal record review: contact the Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: call the Morgan County Sheriff at 217-243-6123
- Official state checks: use the Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification channel appropriate to the request
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement and sealing: file through the Circuit Clerk for the court tied to the case
